eTwinning as a pedagogical resource in the Early Years
Dr Rose-anne Camilleri is currently the eTwinning National Coordinator for Malta and an Education Officer within the directorate for digital literacy and transversal skills.
She graduated in 1991with a B.Educ. (Hons) from the University of Malta and was a class-teacher in primary state-schools for several years. After obtaining a Diploma in IT in Education she moved on to supporting educators in their integration of technology.
She then obtained an MSc in Interactive Teaching Technologies from the University of Ulster (North Ireland) and a PhD in eResearch & Technology Enhanced Learning from the University of Lancaster (UK).
Her main research areas of expertise are: Technology Enhanced Learning, Early Childhood Education – teaching and learning and eTwinning.
She has presented, delivered and moderated during several local and international conferences, seminars and webinars. Regularly selected as a peer-reviewer for international journals.
